It’s been a couple of months since my last unique everyday design post so I figured I should share some of the stuff I’ve found since then ^_^.

Ammonite Washbasin by HighTech Design

It’s not often that you see creative basins like these. The only others I can think of that are remotely interesting are the fancy ones they have at airports sometimes, but even they are more like a long trough. I’m sure kids would have a lot of fun with this, and maybe me as well ^_^.

The Magisso Cake Server

Why is this not in life yet?! It’s a needed utensil for all cakes lovers! Magisso seem to also make a bunch of other kitchen relared items that make things easier and more appealing. I quite like the Kitchen Cloth Holder that gives you a place to neatly hang your washcloth instead of just throwing it in the sink or having it sitting on the side.

Ecotensil Products

I’ve always thought that taste tester spoons were a waste. These little EcoTester spoons are recyclable, biodegradable and compostable. They also have full sized spoons and container lids that turn into spoons. I think making little changes like these are definitely for the better and more places need to adopt these kind of eco innovations.

Svintus Power Strip

This may only be a concept but I still want one! I think this is much more interesting than the boring white boards we have now. It would be great if these came in a variety of animals too. Imagine being able to buy a cute characters like Hello Kitty or something as well or getting creative with how the wire hang down (hula girl with a skirt made of power cords maybe? And yes, a hula girl, classy :P). Lots of fun possibilities ^_^.
