Went overboard and tried a bit of everything on both of them ^^;<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>While perusing Tumblr one day I stumbled upon the lovely illustrations of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.behance.net\/matthewellero\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Matthew Ellero<\/a> and was inspired to make my cards with a similar layered effect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/25.media.tumblr.com\/tumblr_mcmkpdQSM01qas1mto2_500.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/25.media.tumblr.com\/tumblr_mcmkpdQSM01qas1mto2_500.jpg\" alt=\"Christmas Cards 2012 - Inspiration piece\"\/><\/a><figcaption>Inspiration from the art of Matthew Ellero<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Below are some of my WIP shots. I actually created two different batches of cards &#8211; those that were mailed out and those that were given out at a party at later date. These are the latter which have a slightly different design to the original set. I would then get another folded piece of paper and glue it inside the original one.
